West coast Canadians Gyibaaw have a fairly unique theme in the genre of death metal they play, taking influence from the indigenous Tsimshian people of upper British Columbia. Wonderful cover art, lyrics are primarily sung in S'malygax (the language of the aforementioned community), and have worked closely with fellow B.C. residents Mitochondrion — you'll definitely want to give these guys a spin.
